Will McFarland was named Montana’s Director of Player Personnel, NFL Liaison, and Video Coordinator in 2025. He began his career at UM in 2024 as a Special Teams Graduate Assistant.
He manages all video operations for the team and supports the Grizzly staff and players in day-to-day operations, as well as assisting with the recruitment process.
Originally from Whittier, California, he graduated from St. John’s University in Queens, New York, in 2014 with a degree in Criminal Justice. He later graduated from USC with a teaching degree in 2021.
He later taught high school history, government, and AP psychology in Southern California prior to moving to Montana. He also served as a head varsity baseball coach for seven years and spent time as a special teams coordinator.
