Four women's tennis players make trip to Fresno tournament
Nov. 1, 2012 Part of the Montana women's tennis team is in Fresno, Calif., this weekend to compete in the Fresno State Bulldog Classic Nov. 2-4. Sophomore Precious Gbadamosi, freshman Mackenzie Rozell, sophomore Laurence Pelchat and senior Heather Davidsonmade the trip to California to compete in the three-day tournament. The tournament is held at Fresno State's campus in the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center on Friday and Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. Competition on Saturday is at the Sierra Sport & Racquet Club. The four Grizzly players will join from Saint Mary's, LMU, Cal Poly, Pacific, Nevada, Portland State, Fresno Pacific, CSU Stanislaus and Utah. "We are looking forward to the great competition at Fresno State," said head coach Steve Ascher. "Having the opportunity to play against nationally-ranked teams is what every player strives for."
