Montana women's tennis sees success on first day of Boise State

The University of Montana women's tennis team went 7-2 in singles and 5-1 in doubles Friday at the Jack Taylor Classic in Boise, Idaho. The winning record pushes some Grizzly players forward on the brackets to start off competition on Saturday. Sophomore Precious Gbadamosi will compete in the quarterfinals of blue flight (top flight) singles. Sophomore Laurence Pelchat is slated to compete in the quarterfinals of the orange flight (second flight), and freshman Mackenzie Rozell is in the semifinals of the white singles flight (third flight). Junior Ashley Mackey and Gbadamosi advance to the semifinals of the blue doubles flight. Rozell and her partner junior Maddy Murray will compete in the semifinals of the orange doubles flight.
