Montana remains in second place at the end of day two in Bozeman

The Montana women's golf team shot 303 on day two of the Bobcat Invitational at the Riverside Country Club in Bozeman, Mont. The team remains in second place behind Montana State, who shot 302.
Utah Valley (301) wrapped up round two in third place, and Southern Utah (311) is in fourth at the five-team tournament. North Dakota finished the day with 320.
Senior Olivia Weber advanced into second place. She shot a 73, which is five-over-par. Weber is now two shots back from the leader, Montana State player Paige Crawford.
"Olivia has a lot of momentum going into the final round," head coach Emily Milberger said. "I am really excited to see how she finishes up."
Competing in her first collegiate tournament, freshman Kyla Clancy also had a big day. Clancy closed out round two with a score of 76. She moves up seven spots to be tied for seventh place.
Sophomore Tara Green moved up seven spots to finish round two out in fifth place. She shot a 75.
Junior Natalie Beard, who is playing as an individual and does not count toward the team score, shot 79 today. She dropped down to be tied for eleventh place.
"We had a better round today than yesterday," said Milberger. "We are just continuing to learn from the golf course and hoping to put that knowledge to work tomorrow in the final round."
