Sports Network & Coaches Polls Get Acrobat Reader

Philadelphia, PA - The University of Montana Grizzlies moved up to ninth in the Sports Network's and are now ranked at 11th by the FCS coaches poll, those organizations announced today (Monday, Sept. 16).

Montana (2-0), which is coming off a solid 55-17 victory over host North Dakota last Saturday, received 2,450 points in SN's poll and 367 points in the coaches' poll. The Grizzlies were ranked 11th and 15th respectively in those two polls last week.

Two-time defending national champion North Dakota State remained entrenched at No. 1 in both polls. NDSU received 154 of the 156 first-place votes and 3,898 points in the Sports Network poll, and earned all 26 votes by the FCS coaches. NDSU coming off a bye.

The Big Sky Conference have five teams ranked in the top 25 in both polls: Cal Poly, Eastern Washington, Montana State, Northern Arizona, and of course the Grizzlies.
