MONTANA: Ben will start at right guard in 2014. He can also play center, and is UM's back-up at that position.

2013: He played in several games and lettered. He was an All-Big Sky Conference academic team selection.

2012: He was a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: He was a two-time first team all-state selection at offensive tackle at Bozeman High School as a senior. He started at left tackle for the Hawks when they won the 2010 State AA title, going 13-0 that season. He served as team captain his senior year. He was voted "Hawk of the Year" in 2011. He was named his team's defensive MVP in football as a senior. He was selected the "Outstanding Lineman" in 2010 and 2011. He played in both the East-West Shrine Game and Montana-Dakota All-Star Game. His high school football coach was Troy Purcell. He was named to Great Falls Tribune "Super Team." He also lettered in track.

PERSONAL: He is undecided on a major. His parents are Tom and Liz Weyer of Bozeman. Birth date: March 1, 1994. He had a 3.8 GPA in high school. His younger brother, Will, is an incoming freshman quarterback at UM.
