MONTANA: Zach had a very good spring and is expected to contribute in 2013 on the D-line.

2012: He was a UM redshirt. He was moved from defensive tackle last fall, and then moved back to end in the spring of 2013.

HIGH SCHOOL: He was an honorable mention all-state selection at defensive end at local Hellgate High School his junior and senior seasons...football defensive MVP his senior year...also a two-year starter in basketball...first team all-state and all-tournament pick, and team MVP in basketball as a senior...junior and senior hoop teams finished third in the state...his prep football coach was R.L. Boyle...was a three-time member of Hellgate High School's state championship tennis teams in 2010, 2011, and 2012, and won "Coaches Award" those seasons.

PERSONAL: His major is business administration. Birth date: July 17, 1993. His parents are Blake and JoAnne Peevey of Missoula. Misc.: His uncle, Raymond Ballew, competed in track and Montana in the mid-70's. He was a prep teammate of Griz sophomore defensive tackle Jesse Ginn.
