MONTANA: Brett was slowed down by injuries in spring drills, but was solid when healthy. He's expected to contribute at running back and on special teams.

2012: He was fifth on the team in rushing yards with 126 and scored two touchdowns. He also had 4 tackles on special teams last season, and had a 21-yard kickoff return at North Dakota a year ago.

2011: He rushed for a pair of TDs and 135 yards.

2010: He was a redshirt at UM.

HIGH SCHOOL: He was a four-year letterman in football...also lettered twice in both track and baseball...had 2,193 yards of total offense and scored 26 touchdowns his senior season...named all-state by Associated Press, Seattle Times, News Tribune, and Evergreen State Preps...KingCo (King County) 2A-3A offensive player of the year in 2009...first team All KingCo as a senior, and second team as a sophomore and junior...two-time team MVP in football...teams won four straight Crossroads Cup titles...his high school football coach was Sheldon Cross...a three-time team captain in football.

CAREER HIGHS: He rushed 13 times for 54 yards against Idaho State in 2012, and scored twice in that game. His career-long run is 23 yards at Montana State in 2011.
