MONTANA: Caleb saw limited action in the spring due to an injury, but is expected to start this season. He is the Grizzlies' fourth leading returning tackler.

2013: He was the 10th leading tackler on the team with 40 stops. He played in all 13 games and started in two (Appalachian State and Cal Poly). His six tackles for loss were the fourth most (tie) on the team.

2012: He was pressed into action as a true freshman, playing in 10 games. He was 18th on the team in total tackles.

HIGH SCHOOL: He was selected Montana's Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior, when he led the Helena Capital Bruins to a 12-1 record and the Class AA state championship. Voted "AA" defensive MVP his senior year. He was named first team all-state at guard as a sophomore, junior, and senior, and first team all-state at defensive end his senior year. He amassed 97 total tackles, 13 sacks, 11 tackles for a loss and six forced fumbles as a senior. He also recorded 45 pancake blocks on offense in his senior season. He was selected to play in Montana's annual East-West Shrine Game and Montana-Dakota All-Star Game. His prep football coach was Pat Murphy. He was named to the Great Falls Tribune "Super Team."

CAREER-HIGHS: He had five tackles against Cal Poly and Weber State last season.

PERSONAL: His major is business administration. Birth date: Feb. 4, 1994. His parents are Lance and Kathy Kidder of Helena. Misc.: His uncle, K.C. McGowan, played basketball at Montana from 1986-89.
