MONTANA: Gavin and fellow sophomore Jamal Wilson will share reps at UM's hybrid, fullback/tight end position.

2012: He played in 10 games and earned a letter. He was named to the Big Sky's all-academic team.

2011: He was a redshirt at UM

HIGH SCHOOL: He rushed for 907 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior at C.M. Russell High School...named first team all-state and "Super State" at running back as a junior in 2009...tabbed first team all-state at linebacker and second team at running back as a senior, and team (12-1) won the state title that captain and MVP on defense his senior year...hoops teams won state titles in 2009 and 2010...a three-time team captain in football...also team captain in hoops..."Rustler Award" his senior year...his football coach is Montana hall of famer Jack Johnson.

CAREER HIGHS: His first career catch was a 2-yarder for a touchdown at Appalachian State last season. He had 7 tackles on special teams, including 3 at Northern Colorado a year ago.

PERSONAL: His major is economics. Birth date: Feb. 28, 1993. His parents are Greg and Patty Hagfors of Bend, Oregon. He was an outstanding student in high school and had a 4.0 GPA. His father, Greg, was an All-American center at North Dakota State in 1984.
