Junior College: He was one of the leading tacklers at Southwestern Junior College last season with 40 stops, along with an interception and a tackle for loss...named team's "Hardest Hitter" as a sophomore in junior college...started his college career at San Diego State.

High School: He was an all-league selection at safety as a junior and senior at Mater Dei Catholic High School...named team MVP as a senior...earned three letters in both football and baseball...team captain and MVP his senior year in football.
