Montana: Ryan is a talented young receiver and may see action as a true freshman in 2012.

High School: He was moved from wide receiver to quarterback his senior season, and the result was 1,474 passing yards for 18 touchdowns with just 4 picks, while leading his team to its fifth straight State A championship game...also rushed for 704 yards and 8 TDs...as a junior he caught 48 passes for 677 yards and six TDs...twice all-state in football and basketball...prep football coach was Jim Stanton... lettered four times in football and basketball, and twice in both track and tennis...also played in the East-West Shrine Game...selected as the MVP in the Montana-Dakota All-Star Game when he had two TD receptions....also played in the East-West Shrine Game and in the Montana-North Dakota Basketball All-Star Game...one of only six Montana prep athletes to play in three major summer all-star games..two-time team captain in hoops, and once in football.

Personal: His major is business. His parents are John and Stella Burke of Billings. Birth date: Jan. 28, 1994. His cousin, Dan Orizotti, was a linebacker at UM, and a member of the Grizzlies' 2001 national championship team.
