Montana: Kevin has been a squad member the past two seasons and is vying for playing time.

High School: He was an all-state running back and safety at Loyola Sacred Heart High School as a senior when he rushed 138 times for 953 yards, and had 84 tackles on defense...all-conference pick both ways as a junior and senior... played in the Class B All-Star Game in 2010...team captain in football his senior year...earned nine letters: four each in football and track, and one in wrestling...teams won conference football titles in 2006, 2008, and 2009...his high school football coach was Dan Weber.

Personal: He is a pre-physical therapy major. Birth date: Sept. 27, 1991. His parents are Robert and Karen Berland of Missoula.
