GRIZ LAST GAME: NAU 73, at Montana 65: The Jacks had three starters combine for 62 points in the win. The loss snapped a 31-game home win streak in league games by the Grizzlies, who had been undefeated at home in Big Sky games the last three straight seasons.

NAU took an 11-point lead (66-55) with 3:22 left to play on a three-point play by Max Jacobsen. But when Jordan Gregory made two free throws with 1:32 left to play the Griz had trimmed the NAU lead to one point at 66-65. However, NAU responded with a 3-pointer and four free throws to take a 71-65 advantage with 22 seconds remaining.

Kareem Jamar led the Griz with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. Gregory was UM's other double-figure scorer with 17 points. Guard Aaseem Dixon scored a game-high 23 points for NAU, while Jacobsen had 21, and guard Quinton Upshur added 18 to lead NAU. The Jacks were red-hot from the floor in the second half, making 17-of-22 shots for 77.3%.

COACH TINKLE THIRD IN CAREER WINS: Griz head coach Wayne Tinkle's 146 career wins are the third most in school history. Coach Tinkle needs 10 victories to move up to second and pass Mike Montgomery, who had 155 wins in eight seasons from 1979-86.

JAMAR MOVES UP TO 10TH IN CAREER SCORING & STAYS 11TH IN CAREER ASSISTS: Jamar has 1,306 career points to move him up to 10th in school history, as he passed forwards Derrick Pope (1,289 points, 1980-83) and Shawn Samuelson (1,293 points, 1993-96). He is 11th in career assists with 333, and needs just 7 more to move on to UM's top 10 list and pass Tony Reed (339 assists, 1985-89).
