Montana: Kareem and senior guard Will Cherry (if Will returns from an off-season injury later this season) give the Grizzlies one of the best guard combinations in the country. He has scored in double figures in 36 games and has recorded four double-doubles.

2011-12: The versatile sophomore had a break-out season and was a first team All-Big Sky Conference selection. He was fourth in the league in minutes played per game (34.9 pg), fifth in assists (3.7 apg), ninth in scoring (13.6 ppg), 10th in steals, 11th in rebounds (5.6 rpg) and also 11th in blocked shots (tie, 0.6 blk pg). He had the first triple double at Montana in 20 years with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists in a home BracketBusters win (94-79) over Hawaii. He shared UM's Carl Dragstedt Award (MVP) with Cherry.

Jamar was named the league's post-season tournament MVP, when he averaged 20.5 points a game in wins over Eastern Washington (74-66) and Weber State (85-66). In the tourney title game against the Wildcats he made 9-of-12 field goal attempts, was 5-of-8 from three-point range, and scored 23 points and dished lout 7 assists.

2010-11: He was an impact player as a true freshman and started in 18 games. He was UM's third leading rebounder (4.8 rpg) and fifth in scoring (8.1 ppg). He scored in double figures in 10 games. He had a career-high 9 rebounds in five different games.

High School: He was a key player on Westchester High School's two state championships his junior and senior seasons...was a team captain in basketball...named to the all-city team...his senior squad was ranked ninth in the nation by USA Today... he averaged 12 points, 5 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game as a senior, when he was a McDonald's All-American nominee...when his prep team won the state title his junior year they defeated McClymond's High School, a team UM's Will Cherry played on...his prep coach was Ed Azzam.
