High School: Ranked as a three-star prospect out of West Seattle by 247Sports… Played on both sides of the ball for the Wildcats at receiver and corner… A two-year starter on varsity he logged 59 total tackles (54 solo) in 14 games with four tackles for loss… As a senior racked up 33 solo tackles and 34 total stops for an average of 4.9 per game… Logged three pass deflections… Got on the scoreboard with 12 points… As a junior totaled 25 tackles (21 solo), two TFLs, and three interceptions in seven games… As a receiver on offense caught five touchdown passes and rushed for six more scores in career 14 games… Also handled kickoff and punt returns for the Wildcats, averaging 14.2 yards per kickoff return and 10.7 yards per punt return in 21 combined attempts… Also held interest from Air Force, Army, Yale, Eastern Washington, Nevada, and Portland State.
