Prep: A 2012 graduate of Corvallis High ... Runner-up in the 800 and 1,600 meters at the 2012 Class A state meet for Corvallis's championship team ... Also fifth in the 400 meters ... Second in the 800 and third in the 1,600 meters at the state meet as a junior ... Had senior-year bests of 51.57 in the 400, 1:57.77 in the 800 and 4:34.70 in the 1,600 meters ... 800 time ranked fifth in the state among all classes ... Finished sixth at the Class A state cross country championship as a senior, fifth as a junior.
