GSA Events

Each year the Grizzly Scholarship Association (GSA) hosts several special event fundraisers to benefit student-athlete scholarships at The University of Montana. All GSA events are open to the general public. You do not need to be a GSA member to attend these events.

Western Montana Wine & Beer Festival
The "social event of the year," sponsored by Summit Beverage and the Grizzly Scholarship takes place in September or October each fall.

The festival consists of fine wine and beer tasting with food samples from some of Missoula's top restaurants and caterers. In addition, Montana artists will be on site displaying and selling art. A silent auction consisting of limited edition originals and a variety of collector's wine items will be a part of the evening festivities.

Tickets are $60 per person and you must be 21 or older to attend.

Tickets are available to purchase after September 1st each year at the GSA office in the Adams Center, Worden's Market or online at www.gogriz.com. To order by phone call 243-6481.

Griz Football Spring Scrimmage

The Grizzly football team takes it on the road each spring for their spring scrimmage. The games alternate among GSA chapters around the state and it's a great time for folks in smaller Montana communities to experience a Griz football game. The chapters look forward to their turn as hosts and they always make sure everyone has a great time. This family friendly event is a great opportunity to get a sneak peak at the talent coming up in the fall.

GSA Spring Tour

The Grizzly Scholarship Association along with Grizzly Athletics coaches and staff take a whirlwind tour of Montana towns. They travel from Sidney to Kalispell and many points in between visiting with folks along the way. Check the GSA page often to find out when they'll be in your area.

Signing Day Social

Football signing day is a special day across football land and is no different for Grizzly Football. The GSA holds a social every year on signing day to announce the newest recruits who will become part of the Grizzly family.

Be sure to check the GSA page on www.gogriz.com often for information on other events throughout the year.
