One of Missoula's most unique running events, the Montana track and field program's annual Homecoming Hustle, will be held for the 10th time this fall, on Saturday, Oct. 14.

The five-kilometer race -- walkers also are welcome -- begins at 9:55 a.m. at the corner of Higgins and Broadway, five minutes before the start of the annual Homecoming parade.

The race follows the parade route, but while that comes to an end after rolling down University Avenue, the race continues through the Oval, features a lap inside Washington-Grizzly Stadium and ends at the R.P. Ellis Fine Jewelry tailgate.

Title sponsors of the event are Paul Ryan and Associates, and R.P. Ellis Fine Jewelry. The race is a fundraiser for the Montana track and field program.

Entry fee includes a t-shirt and post-race barbecue and beverages at the R.P. Ellis tailgate.
