Brosh honored by Big Sky Conference

University of Montana sophomore Allie Brosh was named the Big Sky Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week the league office announced Tuesday. Brosh was honored for her performance in the 3,000 meters at last weekend's Montana State Last Chance Meet.
Brosh won the event at MSU with a time of 10:04.35. With an altitude adjustment to 9:50.46, it marked a career-best mark for the 3,000 meters for the Sandpoint, Idaho, native and the third-best 3,000-meter time in the Big Sky Conference this indoor season.
Brosh, who will compete in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters for Montana at this weekend's Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships, won the 3,000 meters at the Last Chance Meet by over 17 seconds.
