Grizzly M Club members strive to ensure that the tradition, the prestige and the legacy of Montana athletics are passed from generation to generation.
The mission of the Grizzly M Club is to support current student-athletes both academically and athletically, reunite and connect form teammates of all sports and eras, establish and maintain the qualities of being a "GRIZ" and honor those athletes who have achieved a status of excellence that represents UM at its highest level.
Since the new Grizzly M Club reorganization began, an average of 200 memberships come in each year from former letter winners. We need your help to increase that number to more accurately represent all of our former Griz!

Here's what the $40 per year dues are doing for current letter winners:
- $1,000 Annual M Club Scholarship to a deserving student-athlete who demonstrates excellence both on the court or field, in the classroom and in the community. The scholarship is awarded to a student-athlete from a different sport each year to ensure that all vartisty sports at UM are represented.
- The M Club helps support programs and events put on by Athletics Academic Services to provide opportunities for student-athletes to grow and develop in areas outside of sports.
The Grizzly M Club, through Grizzly Athletics, has partnered with
Career Athletes to help provide additional career education, guidance and networking opportunities for both current and former collegiate athletes. Free to join, members also receive community announcements and information on upcoming athletic events, networking functions and other related information.
Former Griz can become mentors!
If you are already working your desired field, become a mentor to our current student-athletes. Do you remember what it felt like to walk in their shoes and endure the time limitations of a Montana student-athlete? Current student-athletes are eager to connect and learn about your success post-athletics.
Be a significant impact in their lives and help them prepare for life after athletics just as you did. Sign up as a mentor today.
Are you a former Griz looking for a career?
As a career seeker you can post your resume and search through career listings posted on the career board while networking with other Montana alumni athletes.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
By continually renewing your membership or becoming a new member, you will help assure that letter awards and senior recognition will continue. By providing the names, addresses and phone numbers of former Grizzlies with whom you maintain contact, you will help us get them involved in rebuilding and maintaining this tradition. Dues are only $40 per year, and those dollars go a long way.
